Powder Room - Richmond
The new floor plan as part of this massive undertaking called for a rear entry into a space that would be utilized as a mud room. The space was situated between the original detached garage and the original footprint of the house...soon to be enclosed by a two-story addition. The objective was to add a small powder room...somewhere...in that space that could be used by those entering the rear of the house as to avoid trapsing the rest of the way through the house to the front powder room.
Small Master Bath - Tuckahoe
The third and final bathroom of a three-bathroom project, the master bathroom was actually the smallest in overall footprint. Creating something that had a master look and feel without the actual real estate to work with was both the challenge and objective.
Small Bath Update - Richmond
With no option to enlarge the footprint of the original bathroom from its 1941 layout, the focus on this project was simply to replace the fixtures and bath components with modern products. The partially tiled wall surround design was continued to preserve the approach and look from the original home on Richmond's historical Grove Ave.
Bathroom Addition - Glen Allen
These homeowners were seeking a richer look to their existing builder-style master bath. Having conveyed their existing master bath over to their offspring in trade for a new first-floor master suite, the customers were looking to put a bit of their personality into this new space.
