The clipped corner of the existing deck created a less than appealing visual effect when constructing a larger screened room. The goal was to re-use as much of the pre-existing material as possible anc create a better integration of the deck and porch
Simply constructing a very small deck "addition" to the clipped corner with a new railing extension was all that the budget and visual needs necessitated, while nevertheless meeting the overall objective of better visual appeal in that area.
