Kitchen Remodel - U of R Featured

Project Objective:

A very small footprint and some quirky angles and walls made for a challenging objective of creating a functional kitchen.

Scope of Work:

Three main tasks were identified and executed to provide for a better flow and layout: 1. removal of an interior brick chimney (up through the roof!) located just inside the doorway, 2. widening and raising the opening into a finished off space in the rear of the kitchen over a previous rear porch, and 3. relocating the door to the utility room to create a corner location for the largest appliance. A very light, sleek, and modern approach with colors and lighting created a much larger, functional, and stylish kitchen than the customers could have ever imagined.
