The lively neighborhood filled with children playing in front yards was awesome...provided you could see your children playing!. The small entry stoop provided no means for participating in neighborly activities. A nice, large "friendly" front porch was most certainly in order.

Pure and simple, the goal of this project was to seek relief from Mother Nature herself...both for the degrading entry door and the rain-soaked visitors.
