Tired of the 1980's modular floor plan, the customer requested a more open look throughout the entire first floor of their home. Several load-bearing beams were installed to allow walls to be removed or opened up between the family room, kitchen, and sunroom. Vaulted ceilings containing five skylights with a tiered interiors added to the open feel. The entire space was punctuated with eleven custom-built columns that wrapped each wall opening.
