Breakfast Room - Glen Allen

Project Objective:

The eat-in kitchen design typical of homes built only 10-15 years ago was simply not spacious enough for comfotable food preparation, eating, and entertaining.   The homeowner needed more room!

Scope of Work:

With only 10' remaining of building area in back of the house, a shallow but long room addition was all that was possible.  The room was designed for plenty of natural light with lots of windows and lots of skylights.  The typical window above the sink was removed, creating a pass-thru from the food prep area into the eating and entertaining area.  While not as spacious as maybe desired, the addition nonetheless resulted in a much better flow and use of the overall kitchen area.
