Generally content with the layout and overall usability of the kitchen, the homeowners were mainly thinking of updating some of the products and staying within a reasonable budget.

A rather large, seldom used tub occupied a lot of floor space in this homeowner's master bathroom. A decently sized, but closed in, walk-in shower was also a large fixture in this space. The overall footprint of the room seemed fine, but the homeowner was convinced there was a better way to utilize the space.

Granite vanity tops with undermount sinks still remain the overwheliming choice for bathroom remodeling. While both quart top products and surface vessel sinks continue to chip into the market share, they have a long way to go to close the gap.
