| Mark has been in the painting industry for over 20 years...he started in the painting industry as a painter’s helper for two years without being able to touch a brush or roller. He was taught at that time that preparation to all surfaces prior to paint application is what makes the paint project look so good. His mentor at the time had him painting closets and preparing all spaces to be painted.
Finding his calling in the painting industry and loving what he was doing, he jumped in full force. Mark wanted to know not just how to paint but about all aspects of the industry. Realizing financially he was only going to be able to top out at a painter’s wage being a "painter", he continued to grab all the knowledge he could from knowing the paints and primers being applied to the business aspect of the industry of estimating and sales. Throughout the years he has been able to do all he had intended in the Residential and Commercial painting industry as the Operations Manager of two Northern Va. companies and running his own business. Having recently married in October to his wife in Richmond, he is happy to now reside here and plant his feet and knowledge in the area. He is also happy to have the opportunity to be employed by Deep Run Renovations and looks forward to many years of employment. |
