A cold concrete slab porch didn’t give these homeowners an ideal space for relaxing. The goal was to close in the porch and open it into the rest of the house to make it more usable. The slab porch was converted into a climate-controlled sunroom with an expanded opening into the adjacent family room. Several large casement windows provided plenty of natural light and a nice airy feel to accompany the new sky blue walls.
