Jean traded textbooks and blackboards for Quick Books and timesheets. She joined the Deep Run Renovations staff in April 2008 following 31 years as an educator. The last 27 of those years were spent as an upper elementary teacher in Chesterfield County. Jean's passion as a teacher was mathematics and that remains one of her favorite subjects to this day. She has always had an affinity for numbers, organization, and scheduling — three skills that are incredibly valuable in her role as Office Manager at Deep Run. 

When not in the office, Jean enjoys traveling and basketball. She and her husband enjoy spending as much time as possible with their daughters and grandchildren.
